When we think about our next holiday, we often think about those far away, tropical destinations – or those amazing landmarks and wonders of the world in remote corners of the world. But take a minute and look at what’s closer to home.
Tower 13, in Mission Beach, San Diego is nostalgic for me. These lifeguard towers are the epitome of Southern California. These dot the coastline, keeping a watchful eye on the beach goers that blanket the sandy swaths of land, quietly keeping the public safe.
Founded in 1984, the Monterey Bay Aquarium is located at the end of Cannery Row in Monterey Bay, California and the Jellyfish exhibit is second to none. The aquarium and its exhibits are widely popular and have an annual attendance of 1.8 million visitors.
Sailing out of Darling Harbour, the James Craig provides passengers with an amazing tall ship sailing experience. After a complete overhaul of the ship she once again hoisted all of her 21 sails for the first time in nearly 80 years and is now fully operational.
